Location: Newport, VT

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night Shift, 36 hours per week

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive environment
- Monitor and support patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Care for newborns in the nursery and assist with overflow from the Progressive Care Unit
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the highest quality of patient care
- Float to other units as needed to support hospital operations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Vermont upon acceptance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, or Nursery
- BLS/BCLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Flexibility to float to other units and care for overflow patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in Labor and Delivery, Post-Partum, and Nursery care
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to a variety of patient care settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
