Location: Los Angeles, CA

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with on-call weekends (1-2 weekends per month, 30-minute response time)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures using state-of-the-art imaging equipment
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
Assist physicians during angiograms, biopsies, drainages, and other image-guided interventions
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during procedures
Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols
Accurately document procedures and patient information in Cerner EMR
Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency coverage for urgent cases

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification with VI (Vascular Interventional) credential
Valid California Radiologic Technologist license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Fluoroscopy permit as required by California state regulations
Experience with Cerner EMR is highly preferred
Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment
Proficiency in radiation safety and dose optimization techniques
Strong understanding of sterile technique and aseptic practices
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
