Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures with attention to patient safety and sterile technique
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy under IR protocols
• Provide clear patient education and compassionate pre- and post-procedure care
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using Epic charting
• Respond to call and weekend coverage needs promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain ARRT standards and facility policies, including infection control and safety procedures

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience (IR experience is a must)
• Epic charting experience is preferred
• Pending licenses are not accepted; active, valid licensure required
• Willingness to work days, weekends, and participate in call coverage
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs when requested

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and sterile technique
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record charting
• Experience operating fluoroscopy and other IR imaging equipment
• Excellent patient communication and education skills
• Ability to prioritize, respond to urgent situations, and collaborate in a trauma/teaching hospital environment
• Comfort with call rotations and making up callouts as required by department policy
