Location: Abingdon, MD
Start Date: 07-16-2026

Shift Type: 10:45 AM - 8:30 PM (single day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist dentist during periodontal procedures and exams
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Provide patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
- Previous experience in periodontics is a plus
- X-ray certification required
- Ability to wear pink scrubs as per office policy
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficient with dental software and charting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
