Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Help create a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued and safe
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in New Mexico
- Current BLS certification
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care and assistance techniques
- Infection control practices
- Vital signs monitoring
- Effective communication with residents and care teams
- Documentation and reporting skills
