Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopic exams safely and efficiently
• Operate and troubleshoot GE and Siemens imaging equipment and portable X-ray units
• Provide portable/bedside imaging in acute care and emergency settings with compassion and care
• Interpret and verify image quality, submit studies to PACS, and ensure accurate EPIC charting
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, respiratory, pharmacy, transport) to coordinate patient imaging
• Assist with fluoroscopy studies such as barium swallows, contrast enemas, myelography, and upper GI series
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond professionally to emergent imaging needs

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• One year of diagnostic/fluoroscopy experience required
• EPIC experience required for charting
• Experience with PACS, GE and Siemens imaging systems preferred
• ODH license preferred (state licensure as applicable)
• Comfort working night shifts, rotating schedules, and every third weekend
• Travel experience is NOT required to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• Proficiency with PACS image management and EPIC clinical documentation
• Skill operating portable X-ray units and performing bedside imaging
• Familiarity with contrast studies: barium swallow, contrast enema, myelography, upper GI
• Ability to maintain radiation safety and patient positioning standards
• Good communication skills for interacting with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Critical thinking and rapid decision-making during emergent imaging situations
