Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor resident condition and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe patient transfers and use appropriate body mechanics
- Document care accurately and timely in resident records
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a calm, supportive environment for residents
Qualifications
- GNA / Geriatric Nursing Assistant credential (or equivalent) — ready to apply your skills with older adults
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Demonstrated comfort and experience working with geriatric populations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of common geriatric care needs and age-related conditions
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Infection control practices and attention to hygiene
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
