Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility while preserving dignity
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and keep resident records up to date
- Support safe transfers and fall-prevention strategies during daily routines
- Engage residents with friendly conversation and meaningful interaction to promote wellbeing
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure individualized, person-centered care plans are followed
Qualifications
- Valid GNA or state-equivalent nursing assistant certification (required)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience caring for older adults or in long-term care is a plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills with residents and families
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification or state-equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and resident dignity
- Skillful in assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling techniques
- Knowledge of infection prevention and basic hygiene practices
- Comfortable with observation and clear reporting of changes in resident status
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Basic documentation skills; familiarity with electronic or paper charting
