Shift Type: Per Diem (as-needed), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Support safe mobility and transfers while using proper body mechanics
- Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate findings to nursing staff
- Provide compassionate companionship and engage residents in daily activities
- Accurately document care provided and report any incidents or concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- GNA certification or equivalent (required)
- Current state registry or applicable credential for nursing assistants
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working with geriatric population and dementia-related behaviors
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to pass background checks and health screenings as required
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA or CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills including vital sign measurement and personal care
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Understanding of geriatric care needs and common age-related conditions
- Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy
