Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Provide compassionate bedside care while promoting dignity and independence
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe transfers and maintain fall-prevention practices
- Document care accurately and timely in facility records
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care plans
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Valid state authorization to practice in Pennsylvania
- Comfortable providing hands-on care and following infection control protocols
- Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic patient hygiene
- Knowledge of infection control and safe-handling procedures
- Competent with documentation and charting practices
- Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
- Team-oriented mindset and clear communication skills
