Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding and mobility while preserving dignity
- Monitor and document basic patient information and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver consistent, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Willingness to work per diem shifts, including evenings
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to pass required facility background checks and any state-required clearances
Education
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program or equivalent state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care techniques and comfort with activities of daily living
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
- Observation skills to notice and report changes in resident condition
- Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to follow care plans
