Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Perform focused assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to orders
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the chart
• Support residents with activities of daily living and promote dignity and comfort
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
• Contribute to a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (required)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN program graduate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Comfortable with wound care, ADL support, and basic clinical assessments
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills across disciplines
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced night shift environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and dignity
