Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies and best practices
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to support positive patient outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and communicate changes effectively
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and timely
• Advocate for patients and families to ensure safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive care
• Support unit needs during high census or acuity, stepping in where your experience makes the biggest impact

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or active participation in the Nurse Licensure Compact
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS or specialty certifications preferred depending on unit
• Recent clinical experience in acute care settings (travel nursing experience a plus)
• Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding paperwork in a timely manner
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
• Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and patient handling
• Comfort prioritizing tasks and managing multiple patients safely
• Ability to adapt quickly to new teams, units, and workflows
