Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule varies by assignment and may include weekends
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies and best practices
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to support positive patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and communicate changes effectively
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and timely
- Advocate for patients and families to ensure safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive care
- Support unit needs during high census or acuity, stepping in where your experience makes the biggest impact
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or active participation in the Nurse Licensure Compact
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS or specialty certifications preferred depending on unit
- Recent clinical experience in acute care settings (travel nursing experience a plus)
- Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding paperwork in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid assessment and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and patient handling
- Comfort prioritizing tasks and managing multiple patients safely
- Ability to adapt quickly to new teams, units, and workflows
