Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily nursing care to residents, focused on dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff to ensure coordinated care
- Support infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times
- Contribute to a positive environment by mentoring peers and supporting team goals
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for New Hampshire required
- Proven clinical experience as an LPN preferred but new grads with clinical training are welcome
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team
- Reliable, professional, and patient-focused with solid documentation skills
Education
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and accurate charting
- Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Wound care fundamentals and ADL assistance
- Infection prevention and safety practices
- Good clinical judgment and time management
- Compassionate interpersonal skills with residents and families
