Shift Type: Days, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day shift). Position uses 8/10/12-hour day shift options with a typical 10-hour shift pattern and guaranteed 40 hours per week. On-call 4-5 times per month including at least one weekend per month.

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures and related cath lab interventions with precision and compassion
- Support electrophysiology and interventional radiology cases as needed to deliver comprehensive cardiac care
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, ensuring safety and readiness for each procedure
- Document patient care and procedure details accurately in Epic to support continuity and quality
- Respond to on-call assignments in a timely, professional manner and provide high-quality patient care during emergent situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and techs to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and unit protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant cath lab or cardiovascular technologist experience
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records preferred
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization, EP, and IR procedures
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation including weekends
- License to submit is required; BSN is not required
Education
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) training or equivalent clinical certificate preferred
- RCIS certification required; BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac catheterization and cath lab procedures
- Electrophysiology and interventional radiology case support
- Proficiency with Epic charting and documentation workflows
- Radiation safety, sterile technique, and procedural instrumentation
- Patient monitoring, hemodynamic assessment, and ECG interpretation basics
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking under pressure
