Shift Type: Days, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day shift). Position uses 8/10/12-hour day shift options with a typical 10-hour shift pattern and guaranteed 40 hours per week. On-call 4-5 times per month including at least one weekend per month.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures and related cath lab interventions with precision and compassion
• Support electrophysiology and interventional radiology cases as needed to deliver comprehensive cardiac care
• Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, ensuring safety and readiness for each procedure
• Document patient care and procedure details accurately in Epic to support continuity and quality
• Respond to on-call assignments in a timely, professional manner and provide high-quality patient care during emergent situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and techs to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and unit protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant cath lab or cardiovascular technologist experience
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records preferred
• Familiarity with cardiac catheterization, EP, and IR procedures
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation including weekends
• License to submit is required; BSN is not required

Education

• Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) training or equivalent clinical certificate preferred
• RCIS certification required; BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization and cath lab procedures
• Electrophysiology and interventional radiology case support
• Proficiency with Epic charting and documentation workflows
• Radiation safety, sterile technique, and procedural instrumentation
• Patient monitoring, hemodynamic assessment, and ECG interpretation basics
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking under pressure
