Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-ray exams in the Emergency Department and Outpatient settings with precision and compassion
• Prepare patients and positions accurately to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely following radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with ED clinicians and outpatient staff to prioritize urgent imaging needs
• Document imaging procedures thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records in PACS/EMR
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime
• Uphold infection control, patient confidentiality, and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience performing CT and X-Ray imaging
• ODH Radiologic License (required)
• ARRT RRT (R) certification (required)
• BLS from the American Heart Association ONLY (required)
• Preferred: Registered ARRT RT (CT)
• Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs and perform duties that require physical stamina

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven knowledge of CT protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and image acquisition
• Strong patient positioning and trauma imaging skills for ED environments
• Familiarity with PACS, DICOM standards, and basic EMR workflows
• Good communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Solid understanding of radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA requirements
• Ability to prioritize cases and work calmly in a fast-paced emergency setting
