Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately and promptly
• Assist nursing staff with safe patient transfers and mobility support
• Maintain a clean, safe bedside environment and follow infection control procedures
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team to support coordinated care
• Document patient interactions and care activities in line with facility policies

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
• Comfortable standing, walking, and assisting patients for shift duration
• Friendly, patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Basic infection control and safe body mechanics
• Team collaboration and clear documentation practices
• Time management to balance tasks during a busy shift
