Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the Urology surgeon in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urologic conditions
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments to guide care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decisions
• Assist in urologic surgeries and office-based procedures with precision
• Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education about diagnoses and care plans
• Manage post-operative and follow-up care to ensure optimal recovery
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff for seamless patient experiences
• Adhere to universal precautions and OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards for safety
• Perform accurate clinical documentation and support department operations

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) — title required for this role
• Experience in urology, surgical assistance, or office-based procedures preferred
• Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests
• Comfortable working in an environment with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases (OSHA Category I)
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and ability with patient handling
• Ability to practice under a supervising physician in a physician office setting
• Must be authorized to work in the United States — this position is not accepting visa candidates
• Local candidates only — not open to those who commute more than 1 hour
• Not open to LOCUM or LOCUM-to-PERM arrangements; this is a permanent position
