Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment according to protocol and manufacturer guidelines
• Verify patient identity, clinical history and imaging orders prior to exams
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and dose optimization practices
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and technologists to ensure timely, accurate imaging
• Complete competency testing and mandatory Trinity specialty checklists as required
• Maintain thorough documentation and image archiving in the imaging system
• Participate in infection control, fit testing and required health screenings

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Active radiologic technologist license/certification with verification
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing (or willingness to complete)
• Current fit test, drug screen, immunizations and health verifications as listed in onboarding
• Comfortable working rotating schedules including every-other-weekend and holidays
• Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program or equivalent clinical experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven knowledge of CT protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Radiation safety and dose optimization techniques
• Patient positioning and contrast administration fundamentals
• Ability to follow specialty-specific competency checklists
• Good clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with image acquisition workflows and quality control processes
