Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and perform cardiac cath lab procedures including LHC, RHC and PCI with confidence
• Set up and operate GE imaging equipment and ensure procedural readiness
• Provide skilled support for mechanical circulatory devices such as Impella and IABP
• Manage ventilator support during procedures as needed and monitor patient stability
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate findings clearly to the team
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure all procedural supplies and instruments are prepared
• Collaborate with RN and physician colleagues to deliver safe, efficient cardiac care
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by working independently, staying adaptable, and keeping a great attitude

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (explicitly required)
• Hands-on experience with Impella, IABP, and ventilator management (must have)
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR
• Experience with common cath lab procedures such as LHC, RHC and PCI
• Preferred: experience with vascular/peripheral intervention and electrophysiology (EP)
• Ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
• Relevant licensure/certification as required by the facility/state (facility will specify exact credentialing requirements)

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of cath lab procedures and sterile field management
• Skill operating GE imaging systems and integrating imaging into procedures
• Comfortable supporting mechanical circulatory devices (Impella, IABP)
• Proficient with Meditech EMR documentation and clinical workflows
• Strong patient monitoring, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
• Good interpersonal skills for clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
