Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students
• Interpret assessment data and write clear, actionable reports
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized supports
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors and families to design interventions
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans to boost outcomes
• Provide crisis support and behavior consultation as needed
• Offer training and guidance to school staff on assessment and intervention best practices
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school policies

Qualifications

• SC school psychologist certification or eligibility for professional certification in South Carolina (required)
• Comfortable working with students across K-12 grade levels
• Available for the 2025-2026 school year and able to work the specified daytime schedule
• Preference for candidates open to face-to-face full-time work; hybrid (3 days on-site/2 remote) is possible

Education

• Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field (typical requirement)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in psychoeducational assessment and interpretation
• Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
• Data-driven approach to intervention planning and progress monitoring
• Ability to manage caseloads, documentation and timely reporting
