Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Monitor and document resident condition and report changes to the nursing team
- Support mobility and safe transfers while following proper body mechanics
- Help maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
Qualifications
- Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (NH and VT eligibility preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
- Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to pass standard background and health screenings
- Local candidates only (per job note)
Education
- Completion of state-approved LNA training program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in personal care and resident-centered support
- Reliable documentation and charting habits
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time on busy shifts
