Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, preserving dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs and daily observations, communicating changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Help create a warm, home-like environment by engaging residents in conversation and activities
• Accurately document care provided and follow facility policies and infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential required
• Local candidates only — must be able to reliably commute to Lebanon, NH
• Availability to work scheduled days: Tuesday and Thursday (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM) and Saturday (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Comfort with two 30-minute meal breaks on the longer shifts as required by facility policy
• Clean background check and up-to-date immunizations per facility requirements
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred but enthusiastic, compassionate new LNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; current LNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable providing direct resident care and assisting with ADLs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with nursing staff and families
• Basic clinical skills such as taking vitals and recognizing notable changes
• Documentation accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols
• Compassionate bedside manner and patience with older adults
