Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and relevant observations accurately
• Support safe transfers and mobility, promoting independence whenever possible
• Document care and changes in resident condition clearly and promptly
• Communicate effectively with nurses, interdisciplinary team members, and families
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to ensure resident safety
• Contribute to a warm, respectful environment that preserves dignity

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic nursing care and ADLs
• Competent in taking and documenting vital signs
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
• Patient-centered approach and good time management
