Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient condition accurately and promptly
• Assist the nursing team with safe patient transfers, mobility and positioning
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection prevention practices
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members
• Contribute to accurate charting and timely handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (required)
• Active LNA license for the state or ability to practice where assigned
• Comfortable working the posted day shift hours
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
• Strong teamwork, communication and patient-centered care skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and patient safety practices
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs and observing changes in condition
• Ability to assist with ADLs, mobility and basic patient comfort measures
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for documentation and teamwork
• Familiarity with standard infection control and safety procedures
