Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
• Assist nursing team with safe transfers, mobility support, and patient comfort
• Follow care plans and document interventions accurately and on time
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in VT or NH (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Comfortable working overnight hours and handling patient care duties independently
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; LNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Infection prevention and safe transfer techniques
• Accurate charting and documentation practices
• Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical team
