Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, and assisting with daily living activities
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of resident care and observations
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to support individualized care plans
• Create a welcoming, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - required
• Valid ability to work in Pennsylvania
• Comfortable with direct patient care and hands-on tasks
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and health screenings as required

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of resident care and activities of daily living
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection control practices and proper PPE use
• Clear communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
