Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care assisting residents with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and ambulation while following facility protocols
• Assist with nutritious meal service and observe dietary needs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident records
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
• Promote a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania (required)
• Active BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Prior experience working as a CNA in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; required: CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADLs: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs and observational findings
• Comfortable with basic infection control and safety protocols
• Team-oriented with good time management and prioritization
• Respectful communication with residents, families, and care teams
