Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
• Support safe transfers and mobility, promoting independence when possible
• Document resident status, changes, and care provided in the electronic chart
• Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team about resident needs
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification in NH or compact state
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
• Successful background check, TB screening, and required immunizations
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident care and ADL assistance
• Comfortable with vital signs, documentation, and basic charting
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
• Team-oriented with good communication and observation skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy long-term care environment
