Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Support patient safety by following protocols for transfers, fall prevention, and infection control
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver consistent, patient-centered care
• Help create a comforting environment for patients and families during overnight hours

Qualifications

• Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (VT or NH license appropriate for the assignment)
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
• Willingness and ability to work overnight/night shifts
• Current basic health requirements and ability to complete facility onboarding/credentialing
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

Education

• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant (LNA) program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with ADLs
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and observing changes in condition
• Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with patients, families, and staff
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control and patient safety
