Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately and promptly
• Assist nursing staff with treatments and follow care plans to support recovery and comfort
• Communicate clearly with the care team and families to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
• Document care thoroughly in resident charts and report any changes in condition

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — VT or NH licensure required or able to obtain
• CPR/BLS certification (current) preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous long-term care or acute care experience preferred but new grads with solid clinical skills welcome
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and a positive team attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and approved LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs: bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting
• Proficient with taking and documenting vital signs and reporting changes
• Knowledge of infection control best practices and patient safety standards
• Basic charting and documentation skills; attention to detail
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
