Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing and mobility support
• Document resident care accurately and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety procedures
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — valid in New Hampshire or Vermont as applicable
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working overnight hours
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus but not required

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of LNA/CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
• Basic clinical skills: vitals, safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Good written documentation and clear verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Awareness of infection control practices and resident safety protocols
