Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and feeding support
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Assist the care team with ADLs and ensure patient dignity and comfort at all times
• Document care activities clearly and timely in the patient record
• Support safe environment standards by following infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality outcomes
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through attentive, respectful service

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable with basic patient care tasks and lifting/transfer techniques
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
• Previous long-term care or facility experience is a plus but enthusiastic new grads are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of infection prevention and standard precautions
• Ability to take and record vital signs and observe patient condition
• Familiarity with patient lifting and transfer safety
• Basic charting and documentation skills; electronic charting experience is a plus
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
