Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the care team
• Support safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Follow infection control and safety policies to protect patients and staff
• Document care accurately in the patient chart

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in the applicable state
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background checks
• Comfortable providing direct patient care in a clinical setting
• Previous long-term care or acute care experience preferred but new grads welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and observation skills
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic charting and documentation skills; familiarity with electronic medical records a plus
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices and safe patient handling
