Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents while maintaining dignity and independence
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and communicate changes to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support quality care
- Work collaboratively with the care team to implement care plans
- Create a friendly, safe environment that helps residents feel at home
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — NH or VT eligibility preferred
- Ability to work the 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift and reliably report on scheduled days
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Comfortable performing basic clinical tasks and documenting care
Education
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamentals of resident care and safety
- Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
- Assisting with ADLs and mobility support
- Basic charting and documentation practices
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
