Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document care and observations clearly and timely in the patient chart
• Collaborate with nurses, therapy staff, and families to promote patient comfort and goals
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification (Class: LNA) — VT or NH licensure welcome (job listed as VT/NH)
• Previous experience in a long-term care or acute care setting preferred
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program or equivalent; high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident care and activities of daily living
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Good teamwork and communication with interdisciplinary staff
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
