Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and support for residents with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and document resident condition and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and fall-prevention practices to keep residents secure
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification for VT or NH as required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and working in a long-term care setting
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to pass background checks and any facility-specific onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and current LNA license

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
• Basic clinical observation and documentation skills
• Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Clear communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
