Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct nursing care to residents following care plans and facility policies
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document assessments accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify changes in condition and escalate appropriately
• Educate residents and families with clear, respectful communication
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices
• Support admissions, discharges, and safe transitions of care with professionalism

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing or eligible for licensure in New Mexico
• Active BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen per facility requirements
• Comfort working evening/overnight shifts and collaborating in a team-based setting
• Travel healthcare experience is a plus but not required

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program and LPN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Good clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Familiarity with long-term care and rehabilitation nursing principles
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic EMR/charting proficiency and attention to detail
