Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility while preserving dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Document resident care and observations clearly in the charting system
• Support nursing staff with treatments, ambulation and transfers
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent care
• Follow infection control, safety protocols and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — VT or NH licensure appropriate for the assignment
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, TB screening and required immunizations
• Comfortable providing hands-on resident care and working as part of a busy team
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant (LNA) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in resident care and assisting with ADLs
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
• Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to learn facility EMR
• Teamwork, time management and compassionate bedside manner
