Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver engaging nursing education and competency training for frontline staff
• Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs that improve patient care
• Coach and mentor nursing staff to build clinical confidence and best practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align education with clinical goals
• Support infection prevention initiatives and help reduce healthcare-associated risks
• Assess learning needs, document outcomes, and report on quality improvement efforts
• Assist with onboarding of new staff and travelers to ensure safe, consistent care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure appropriate for practice in New Hampshire (or compact license eligibility)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience in clinical nursing with additional practice or interest in nurse education
• Background in infection prevention is a plus or demonstrated willingness to learn
• Strong presentation, coaching, and documentation skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements, background checks, and health screenings

Education

• Active RN license required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Adult learning principles and instructional design for clinical settings
• Infection prevention best practices and standard precautions
• Clinical assessment, documentation, and competency evaluation
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Comfortable using electronic health records and documenting education activities
• Ability to translate data into actionable quality improvement plans
