Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on bedside care to residents and patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
• Support the nursing team by communicating changes in condition promptly
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Document care clearly and timely in the facility record system
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) credential valid in NH or VT
• Completion of a state-approved LNA program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel assignment schedule
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and drug screen
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved Licensed Nursing Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer/lift techniques
• Measuring and charting vital signs accurately
• Assisting with ADLs while preserving patient dignity
• Basic EMR/charting familiarity and clear documentation
• Infection control standards and PPE best practices
• Time management, prioritization, and collaborative teamwork
