Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Support grooming, feeding, and toileting needs while promoting patient dignity
• Document care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (NH or ability to obtain state licensure)
• Current healthcare employer requirements such as background check and immunizations
• Ability to complete necessary facility onboarding for a travel contract
• Reliable, patient-focused attitude and strong teamwork skills
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain if required by facility

Education

• High school diploma or GED and Certified/Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in patient care, ADLs, and basic clinical observations
• Clear verbal and written communication for handoffs and documentation
• Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings with diverse patient needs
• Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety standards
• Collaborative approach to working within interdisciplinary care teams
