Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with hygiene, feeding, mobility, and positioning safely
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and promptly in patient charts
• Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other staff to deliver coordinated care
• Help with patient transfers and ambulation following facility protocols

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential; eligible for VT or NH assignments
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care in an acute or long-term setting
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass background check, immunization and TB screening requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic patient care and infection control practices
• Proficient in taking vital signs and recognizing changes in patient condition
• Patient- and family-centered approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Good documentation practices and attention to detail
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
