Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents as a trusted Licensed Nursing Assistant
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff to ensure timely care
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics and equipment to protect residents and self
• Document care accurately and clearly to maintain continuity and high-quality records
• Collaborate with the care team to foster a comfortable, respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification valid for VT/NH
• Clean background check and required state clearances for patient care
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing direct resident care
• Prior experience in a long-term care or similar clinical setting is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant tasks and infection control practices
• Skill with safe patient handling, transfers, and mobility assistance
• Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition accurately
• Familiarity with documentation procedures and care plans
• Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with residents and families
