Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs, behavior changes, and patient condition accurately
• Document care and observations clearly and timely in the resident record
• Support meal assistance and nutritional needs while respecting resident preferences
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and families to advocate for residents
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification in accordance with state requirements
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Comfort working night shifts and collaborating with a team in a fast-paced care setting
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care, transfers, and range-of-motion assistance
• Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety
• Ability to accurately take and document vital signs and basic observations
• Familiarity with electronic documentation or willingness to learn facility systems
• Good time management, teamwork, and resident-focused problem solving
