Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care and hands-on support to help patients thrive
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Perform routine assessments, wound care and basic clinical procedures
• Collaborate with nurses and providers to coordinate safe, effective care
• Support patient education and family communication with clarity and empathy

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in North Carolina or eligible for NC licensure
• Valid BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable with medication administration, wound care and routine assessments
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Previous LPN experience in a long-term care or acute care setting preferred

Education

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic nursing principles and medication administration
• Effective charting and documentation habits
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
• Patient observation and early recognition of change in condition
• Teamwork and clear communication with peers and providers
