Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, enhancing their comfort and dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Perform routine vital signs and basic clinical observations, reporting changes promptly
• Document care activities accurately and communicate with the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
• Engage residents in social interaction and encourage independence whenever possible

Qualifications

• Current LNA license for Vermont or New Hampshire required
• Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Valid state-required background checks and immunizations per facility policy
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Completion of a state-approved LNA training program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and hands-on ADL support
• Basic vital sign measurement and reporting
• Infection control and safe handling procedures
• Accurate documentation and charting habits
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
