Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Document patient status and care given in a clear and timely manner
• Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and the care team to promote continuity of care
• Adhere to infection control policies and facility protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification — ability to work in VT or NH preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic nursing care and patient safety practices
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
• Familiarity with ADLs (activities of daily living) assistance
• Good charting and documentation habits
• Infection control and standard precautions knowledge
• Ability to follow care plans and take direction from RN/LPN staff
