Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record patient conditions including vital signs and meal intake
• Support the nursing team by reporting changes in patient status promptly
• Deliver safe, dignified personal care with respect for privacy and individuality
• Maintain accurate documentation in resident charts and electronic records
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and skin breakdown
• Follow infection control procedures and facility policies to keep residents safe
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and team members

Qualifications

• Active LNA license (VT or NH) required for this VT/NH assignment
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Successful background check and required immunizations
• Previous experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant preferred but new grads with strong training are welcome
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

• Completion of an approved Licensed Nursing Assistant program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
• Knowledge of basic infection control and resident safety practices
• Able to follow care plans and document accurately and promptly
• Good communication skills with residents, families, and clinical staff
• Teamwork, time management, and a calm approach to resident care
