Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately
• Assist nursing team with safe transfers and mobility support
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to licensed staff
• Contribute to meaningful patient interactions that promote dignity and comfort

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential
• Proven experience providing patient care in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Friendly, dependable, and able to work independently during overnight shifts
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfort with assisting patients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Accurate documentation and charting skills
• Strong infection control and safety awareness
• Good communication and teamwork with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks during overnight hours and respond calmly in emergencies
